Company Background

Established in 2005 by Shane Evans, Moombarriga is now a market leader in the delivery and provision of cutting-edge MT acquisition and modelling services.

Growing from an initial client base of Government Agencies and mineral and geothermal exploration companies, Moombarriga has established a reputation for delivering the highest quality data, continuing to develop both our methodology and capacity, and providing expertise in all aspects of MT surveying.

Vast expansion over the last decade has seen Moombarriga acquire a specialised IP data acquisition company, Search Exploration, further enhancing our capability to deliver high-quality data products for clients and ensuring ongoing capacity and expertise for high-powered IP surveying.

Our team comprises over 50 years of technical expertise, backed by a highly skilled and experienced team of Engineers, Technicians, and support crew.

Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, one of the largest mining regions in the world, Moombarriga also has a Canadian office providing MT services to the North American market.

Strong, long-term relationships with both public and private companies and universities provide us access to some of the most widely recognised scientists in the MT and IP industry, allowing us to continue to grow and enhance our technical capabilities and provide an expert service, responsive to our clients needs and stay at the forefront of techniques, embracing new technologies.

Moombarriga is a Noongar (Nyungar) word for “Cherry Tree” and also the name of Shane’s family farm in Southern Western Australia.
